AI for Good: Meet Sir Hatch, the Dedicated Assistant for Nonprofits

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Sir Hatch, your personal AI-powered content creation assistant designed specifically for nonprofits. Sir Hatch utilizes the power of GPT-4 to leverage our signature enriched profiles. Along with curated nonprofit fundraising and marketing data and prompts, it generates individualized communication for fundraising, marketing, and relationship-building purposes.

Your Personal Content Assistant
Sir Hatch is designed to assist nonprofit staff members in writing anything from a personal invitation to a marketing or fundraising letter, to a tailored thank you letter, all curated for the person on that particular profile. By leveraging the knowledge of your nonprofit and the enriched data of the particular individual, Sir Hatch generates, saves, and sends personalized content for each individual in your organization.

Multi Draft System
The user flow is simple and easy to use. When visiting the profile of an individual, a chat bubble appears from Sir Hatch asking, “Would you like assistance with writing a letter to [individual’s name]?” When clicking “Sure,” a side panel appears with customized prompts such as the type of letter, length of the letter, tone of the letter, and other critical recommendations; all designed with your nonprofit’s daily needs in mind.

After selecting all prompts, the user gets a “Compose Draft” button. Results are presented, and the user is then given the option to give feedback for multiple drafts. The user can choose to copy, save or immediately email the person with one click!

To begin using Sir Hatch, log in to your account or sign up today! Please note that Sir Hatch is currently being made available to our Beta Cohort Members for testing.

At Hatch, we take privacy, security, and data ethics very seriously. Therefore, we are taking steps to ensure that the content created limits inaccuracies and biases and is aligned with your nonprofit’s values and mission. We are also “tokenizing” the Donors’ names and contact information, so any personally identifiable information will not be shared with OpenAI.

Sir Hatch

If you were to meet Sir Hatch at a hotel bar or on an international flight you would encounter a highly skilled conversationalist with the adroit ability to crunch complex ideas into enjoyable digestifs. As your encounter deepens, you will see a lover of humans and machines, one who knows that the latter was created for the former, not the other way around. Sir Hatch uses long words at times, but only when there is no shorter one. He may tech, but he will never technobabble. Sir Hatch is a regular guy with a spectacular vision, which of course is way better than a spectacular guy with a regular vision. After meeting Sir Hatch you feel yourself aspiring to fulfill that spectacular vision. Not because Sir Hatch sold you on it, but because you realized that you were sold from birth.
