Hatch announces a new integration with Blackbaud nonprofit solutions.

New York, NY, May 7, 2024–Hatch, a pioneering ‘Giving Intelligence’ platform for nonprofits, announces its integration with Blackbaud, the leading software provider for nonprofits dedicated to powering social impact. This collaboration offers nonprofit fundraisers and marketers a streamlined experience by combining Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge NXT with Hatch’s robust data insights.

For too long, organizations have been racing against the clock, at risk of losing key support from high-potential givers, volunteers and social influencers. This is compounded by the surge of fresh support from crowdfunding campaigns and P2P initiatives. While presenting exciting opportunities for growth, nonprofits often find themselves with limited information beyond contact details and gift size. This makes it nearly impossible to cultivate meaningful relationships that convert for the long term.

And it’s hurting their impact―leading to missed connections and generic communications that fail to resonate.

Hatch provides a unique solution. By merging Blackbaud’s donor management with Hatch’s advanced data enrichment, nonprofits can finally gain a holistic view of their supporters―encompassing interests, giving potential, and engagement history. This allows nonprofits to unlock critical insights, enabling data-driven decisions that boost donor engagement across all of their fundraising efforts, yielding greater effectiveness in P2P, crowdfunding, and fundraising events.

Hatch’s plug-and-play integration with Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge NXT enables non-profit organizations to easily and automatically sync designated constituents and their gifts between RENXT and Hatch, enriching them with new social, career, contact, and wealth information. Users can then apply powerful sorting, filtering, and scoring capabilities to the combined data from both platforms, to discover donors with the highest potential, and segment constituents into groups with high relevance to specific campaigns.

Moshe Hecht, founder and CEO of Hatch and former CIO of Charidy, which has assisted over 8,000 nonprofits in raising more than $3 billion, drew on his experience to establish Hatch in 2021 with the goal of revolutionizing how nonprofits manage and leverage data. “As one of the winners of the Blackbaud 2023 Startup Showcase at bbcon, Hatch is thrilled to offer full plug-and-play integration with Black baud’s platform,” Hecht remarks. “This collaboration will empower nonprofits to elevate their fundraising efforts and differentiate themselves in the sector.”

Lizzie Schaffer, GM of Blackbaud’s Social Good Startup Program, adds, “Hatch was chosen as a 2023 Startup Showcase winner for its low-cost, high-impact solution for fundraisers. We are excited to present this new integration between Hatch and Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT, allowing nonprofits to harness Altruistic Intelligence and better understand their audiences.”

Sir Hatch

If you were to meet Sir Hatch at a hotel bar or on an international flight you would encounter a highly skilled conversationalist with the adroit ability to crunch complex ideas into enjoyable digestifs. As your encounter deepens, you will see a lover of humans and machines, one who knows that the latter was created for the former, not the other way around. Sir Hatch uses long words at times, but only when there is no shorter one. He may tech, but he will never technobabble. Sir Hatch is a regular guy with a spectacular vision, which of course is way better than a spectacular guy with a regular vision. After meeting Sir Hatch you feel yourself aspiring to fulfill that spectacular vision. Not because Sir Hatch sold you on it, but because you realized that you were sold from birth.
